Renovation and remodeling are almost complete....the only items left are the whitewash flooring and the "mermaided" walls and ceiling. Began in March, this project has been quite a journey and it is hoped we will open towards the end of the month. Look in now and then, we will post updates from time to time!

Here are the "after" pictures which correspond to the first pictures revealed in April's "HERE WE GO AGAIN". We are finally open at the new location in the Flower Hill Promenade which is being celebrated today from 4pm to 8pm at a "GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION" !! The "Cove" is on the move again. In just a few days, we will moving into our new location within the Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar. We are teaming up with the fabulous cafe venue, The Pannikin, in an open floor design to offer our customers the convenience of "treats" and "treasures" all under one roof! These pictures of the work-in-process (click on the picture to enlarge) show the view from the back of the store looking outside, one of our massive walls to hang art, and the new cashier station. We can hardly contain our excitement as this project unfolds. Be sure to "splash in" when we open on April 18th....mention you read this and we will have a mermaid treasure waiting for you! SPLASH!!

Wow!! Some days I feel like I am swimming through oatmeal....REALLY NOW.....can't a mermy just get a small breaker...instead of tidal waves? We are moving forward however. Now we are able to process payments through Pay Pal, who will process any credit card. (Don't be fooled, you don't have to have a Pay Pal account....even though it seems that way). Anyway, our direct payment processor is almost on board. Holy Neptune....choosing one of those guys is like trying to find a pearl in an oyster. The good news is..it is almost done and.... now there are over 120 different products uploaded onto the shelves in OUR STORE Before you know it....we will reach our goal toppling over 500 items!! Now that will be some fin flippin' fun!!

We are almost ready to enable the checkout process on our new online store. The new platform is the tab named "OUR STORE" among the category tabs at the top of our home page. The "ONLINE GIFT SHOP" tab will actually disappear when this happens. We certainly hope that this has not been an inconvenience, because if a purchase has been attempted, it will only offer a "phone order" payment method at this time.
